Shipping Return Policy
At Emma Lou’s Southern Pies, we take great pride in the quality of our products. Attention to materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will do our very best to resolve any issues with your order ASAP.
Our pie kits are shipped frozen in eco-friendly biodegradable foam coolers with dry ice. The pie kits should be removed from the cooler upon arrival. Be sure NOT to handle the remaining dry ice with bare hands (use gloves). Do not place the dry ice directly in your sink. It's best to let it dissipate in the cooler away from children and pets. If the pie kits arrive cold and not completely frozen, it is still perfect for consumption even if there is no dry ice remaining in the package. Upon arrival you may bake, refrigerate, or refreeze. Our pie kits will last up to seven days in the refrigerator or up to six months in the freezer.
Pie kits are shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please be extremely careful DO NOT touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands (use gloves). Upon receipt, remove the pie kit from the shipping box. If you don't plan to bake and serve the pie within 24 hours of receipt, store in the freezer for up to 6 months. If the pie kit will be baked and served within 24 hours of receipt, defrost in the refrigerator overnight and keep for up to 4 days.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy, and taste the love!
